I am an independent, self -representing artist whose works include Colorful Art,  Whimsical Digital Creations and Altered Art. I love to experiment with  Mixed Media  And  Bold Watercolors  while creating Landscapes and Gardens with Line Designs. I love to design colorful depictions of nature, preferably the ocean, landscapes, flowers and birds, while relying on intuition and insight to capture that 'joy' in bold color.  The ultimate expression is to  translate my love of color onto paper, canvas and the digital screen. I also love to spend time creating Colorful Crochet Afghans and Handmade Art Journals that infuse my Love of Color with joyful tactile fiber pieces that can be used in the home or given as gifts.

My background in the Social Work profession  has helped me to identify and appreciate the small beauties in life, and to express the Joy that comes with creating. There are so many concepts, theories, values and practices Ive learned through being a social worker, but the most profound is that every one of us has the ability to change our lives, alter our futures and transform ourselves..and that power lies deep within each of us.  It does not come from a book, a guru, a teacher or a class, but through the lessons these options offer, when applied with our own lens of thoughts, feelings and behaviors.

While working in a  Community Advocacy Program, and in the foster care system of NYC, I began attending art school on Long Island, New York in 2003. I was creating art on the side but wanted to learn more. I  wanted to change where I was going and what I was doing, so I started creating more and more. I experimented with all kinds of supplies, papers, tools and ideas. I began transforming my life, and alter how I wanted to live in the  future. I loved my work in the clinical field but I knew that I could not do that for the next 30 years. It is difficult, yet rewarding work, but has its limits as well. So I began limiting my hours in the office and creating more hours in my studio. I began   to share my work in local shows and on the internet by way of websites, blogs and online shops. I joined the art communities and  met so many like minded souls.

In 2013 my husband and I along with family, decided to downsize and relocate. We left New York and moved to a small town in Northeast Georgia, where I decided to make my dream of a full time artist a reality. We bought a few small houses and a bunch of acres and my  family now resides on a small farm-like property with chickens, beautiful landscape and the most wonderful neighbors.

I love to spend time at the ocean or in nature looking for inspiration, and always have a bag of art supplies ready in hand.. I live  with my husband Wilson of 32 years 2 daughters Victoria and Rachel, grandson Fonze and friends enjoying our time in the deep south. My work can be found in homes around the world as well as album covers, books, and in tutorials for creating art.
